Greetings! So Thankful for the opportunity to share the Remembrance Supper with others all around the planet on April 6, 2018. Although we may not have been in each other's presence... I did sense the comradery we shared through the Spirit of Christ Michael and His Spirit of Truth in my home as I had my supper and the breaking of the bread and the drinking of the Wine in Remembrance of Jesus'/Michael's life here on our world. My Remembrance dinner was a special one this year. I am grateful and excited about the potential of the Spirit of Truth utilizing the 'Increased and Multiplied Power of the Presence of Christ' in all of our lives to aid us in sharing the Supper and Communion together this year... and feel certain the opportunity to 'practice' this shared experience with others in this way will benefit the expansion of the Kingdom of God here on our struggling and chaotic world. May God's Power and Grace inspire us all to move forward in certainty and Peace! Be Well, Brothers and Sisters. Let us never forget...God's Will eventually will prevail upon Urantia! Love to All!

On Friday evening, eight of us joined together for a meal and then a reading of Paper 179:5 Establishing the Remembrance Supper. The cup of wine was passed, followed by the plate of unleavened bread. It was quite moving for each one of us. The presence of Christ-Michael's spirit was felt in the room. Before leaving, we committed to gather again on Saturday April 6, 2019 for our next Remembrance Supper. Thank you so much for nudging us to schedule this event.
April 7, 2018 - Boston, Massachusetts and Pasadena, California
Our Remembrance Supper began about 8:00 pm EST. My friends who are partners with TheChristExperiment in California along with another friend did our celebration using zoom to connect with each other. The medium allowed us to celebrate in real time, face to face in spite of our different time zones and separation by long distance. While we could not dip into each others tasty dishes, this in no way diminished our enthusiasm of being together to commemorate what our beautiful Creator Father has left us as a legacy of his time on earth. We opened our celebration with a prayer and an invitation to our celestial family who may have been in the vicinity to join in with us for this Remembrance occasion. While enjoying our communal meal, we discussed various aspects of Paper 179, particularly what Jesus said about the symbolism and representation of the bread and wine. After we had exhausted our individual thoughts of appreciation on these words, we all partook of the bread and beverage of choice as the Master had commanded. Afterward we discussed our joy in having achieved spiritual liberty from the authoritarian religion we were once a part of and talked extensively about our dear friend and partner to this ministry Jeffrey Allen who passed away in January, and speculated on what he must be doing now that he has been re-personalized. Before we knew it, two and a half hours had passed. We offered a final prayer of thanksgiving and thanked our celestial visitors, unseen to us but whom we believe were very much present during our celebration, for dropping in. It was a wonderfully joyous experience. Looking forward to Remembrance Supper 2019.
April 7, 2018 - Boulder, Colorado
We had a LOVELY celebration, even though we had a snow storm and most of the people we had invited to join our meal and remembrance ended up cancelling throughout the day. As our numbers kept dwindling we went out and purchased more items of food because we knew our "POTLUCK" would not be happening - it would just be mostly immediate family and so we would need to cook most of the food ourselves. We came up with a delicious menu and settled in for the event with appetizers of Brie Cheese and seed crackers, Terriaki Turkey Meatballs and then a meal of a side of Salmon slathered in Mayo, Mustard and Soy Butter Sauce (YUMMY), Wild Rice with Mushroom Cream, Green Salad with Brussel Sprouts and Cabbage, and Cherry Pie for dessert. With bread and wine, of course, for the ceremony. Then just as we were setting down for our meal, there came a knock at the door, and there were three college students who had been at our study group recently - they were Religious Studies students from a class at Colorado University with one of the professors who attends our study group. Although she didn't make our dinner - they had been invited as a part of their "visiting other religious groups about town" assignments. We explained to them the purpose of Jesus Brotherhood UNITY behind this ceremony and the intention to bring all Jesus believers together around the world to celebrate the Master's Gift of the Bestowal of the Spirit of Truth (or the Holy Spirit as Christians see it) and his life as the Father and Son combined in one gift" - and how we can spread the word slowly each year so that in if we keep doubling the numbers, we can have all JESUS believers participating in this ANNUAL CELEBRATION in homes across the world. They said "WOW what a great idea...a way to unify the brotherhood of Jesus believers.” They hadn't understood the importance of this simple ceremony. I explained that it was really the only thing Jesus had asked us to do in remembrance of him. You could tell that they "GOT IT" right away. You don't have to be a Urantia Book reader to get the significance of this annual unity ceremony. What a delightful surprise it was to have those bright young faces grace our table and to share our meal and our REMEMBRANCE SUPPER. It changed the whole energy of the room and we ended up having such a wonderful conversation about how each of them grew up and what their experience was with the religion in their homes and how they found JESUS. When it came to the "Ceremony" part of the evening, they were quite solemn and reverent and touched by the spirit, and moved by the beautiful poetic reading (by Andre) from the book. The night went on with conviviality (and really good wine - thanks Andre) and joyful fellowship while they shared their hopes for their career futures and the way the spirit moved in their lives. What a wonderfully different REMEMBRANCE SUPPER it became than what was anticipated. Thank You JESUS and the SPIRIT of TRUTH for moving with us the way you did last night. We are so grateful and blessed.
April 7, 2018 - San Antonio, Texas
Last night three of us gathered together for a Remembrance Supper at my home. We acknowledged and invited our celestial family to join us. During our meal we had a spiritual discussion of what the meaning of this was all about. Afterwards we pulled up some chairs to the computer screen and watched the very beautiful video which we all enjoyed very much. Afterwards we had our desert and thanked Jesus and our celestial guests again and told them they could be on their way to go about the Father's business. All in all it was a very uplifting evening and we hope to continue it next year hopefully with even more present. Last year I observed the Supper alone and with the video which I was very thankful for so this year I was so happy to be joined with others. Having been attending the "Memorial" for so many past years I find this intimate setting so much more meaningful. I wish there was some way we could know if others here in Texas are close to us who appreciate The Christ Experiment as much as we do. The internet is great but nothing takes the place of flesh and blood association! Thank you for your work in behalf of the Brotherhood and may our Father continue to bless you.
April 6, 2018 - Midland, Texas
Tonight, Robert and I celebrated at our home. It was just the two of us and my hope was to play the video on the big screen by mirroring from my iPhone but it was jumpy and kept cutting off. So I was not deterred but used my phone only and put the video between us and we listened that way which worked perfectly. I do so appreciate those videos! Robert was so thankful that we did it. We started about 8:10 with a prayer of invitation and thanks, as sunset was listed as being at 8:11. It's probably been about 4 or 5 years since we went to a Memorial service so we were humbled and thankful to institute a new tradition for us. And hopefully next year we can extend the number to more than 2 in Midland, TX. Blessings to you all for all your hard work. In loving kindness and brotherhood.
